Studies conducted by the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (BSPS) reveal the staggering growth in demand for buttock implants in Brazil. In 2011, more than 21,000 people underwent buttock augmentation surgery using implants. Two years earlier, in 2009, this figure was only 4,500 people, representing a growth of 380%.

Surgical techniques for buttock implants have significantly advanced in recent years, with the most advanced methods allowing for quicker recovery and very natural results. This is particularly achieved through the combined procedure of lipofilling or lipomodeling (lipostructure) of the posterior contour, which involves liposuction of the hips and abdomen followed by reinjection (lipofilling) into the buttocks, especially in the lateral hollows. The shapes of buttock implants offered are round or anatomical, with a wide selection making buttock augmentation possible for everyone. 

This has dramatically contributed to the impressive growth in the number of buttock augmentation surgeries (gluteoplasty), resulting in a true transformation of the silhouette. Slim women can also benefit from this technique, achieving a natural result.
